Responsibility for processing your personal data
Infobric as processor
Infobric AB, 556646-2940, Gjuterigatan 9, SE-553 18 Jönköping, Sweden, is a supplier of entry systems, attendance registers and authorisation control in Infobric Ease, “the Service”, and is processor for the processing of personal data that takes place in the Service when, for example, we help our customers in a support case in the Service or store data on our servers. This responsibility is described in further detail in our General Terms and Conditions for the Service.
Infobric as controller
Infobric is controller for the processing of the personal data that you as a user share with us when:
- You order the Service or a new workplace in the Service
- You create an account in the Ease CheckIn app
- You have a question and contact us by phone or email
- You register for a course or an event that is organised by us
- You are a recipient of our newsletter or other communication
- You visit our website and accept cookies
- You use our social media channels
Why do we process your personal data?
Annex 1 to this policy contains a detailed list of the personal data that occurs within the various categories, on which occasions and the legal basis on which processing is performed.
When you order the Service or a new workplace in the Service
When you order the Service, we collect contact details of the orderer and any other specified contact persons within your company. The purpose of processing is to be able to fulfil the obligations in the agreement and collaboration under the agreement such as, for example, administration of the contractual relationship, providing you with important information and other communication about the Service.
When you create an account in the Ease CheckIn app
When you create an account in the Ease CheckIn app, we collect the data required in order to be able to manage your account. This information is saved for as long as you keep your account with us.
When you have a question and contact us by phone or email
When you contact us by phone or email, we process the personal data that you have chosen to share with us in order to deal with your question.
When you register for a course or an event that is organised by us
We collect contact details in order to be able to keep you updated with information about the course/event in question.
When you are a recipient of our newsletter
We process your contact details in order to be able to send the newsletter to you as a user of the Service. We use a third party provider to handle this mailing and your registered email address is therefore stored in their service. You can always unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking on a link, and your data will be deleted in the service.
When you visit our website and accept cookies
When you use Infobric’s social media channels
Infobric is responsible for personal data that is published on our company profiles on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Flickr. This responsibility encompasses both personal data that we may publish ourselves and personal data published by others, for example in comments on a posting. Please note that you as a user who has written a comment may also be responsible for any data that you yourself have disclosed.
Infobric only publishes information about our users in items in our social media channels if we have obtained your consent and informed you, e.g. if you are taking part in a competition organised by Infobric. We regularly monitor what is published in the comments fields in order to discover abusive personal data and delete any such personal data as soon as possible when it is discovered. When you contact Infobric via any of our channels in social media, e.g. via Facebook Messenger, we process the personal data that you send to us in order to be able to deal with your case and respond to you via the same service.
How long do we save your personal data?
How long your personal data as a user is saved by us varies, depending on the purpose for which it was collected. Your personal data will be stored for the time necessary for this purpose, and for the time thereafter that is necessary in order to meet our justified interest in handling and complying with legal requirements. As a starting point, personal data published in digital channels will be saved until further notice. Reports at a general level that do not contain any personal data may be saved until further notice.
What are your rights?
As a data subject at Infobric, you have several rights of which you should be aware:
- You have the right to request an extract from the register of the information registered about you.
- You have the right to have your personal data rectified if it is incorrect, incomplete or misleading, and the right to request the restricted processing of your personal data.
- You have the right to request that your data be erased.
- You also have the right to revoke consent, to submit a complaint about processing to the Data Protection Authority, to oppose automatic decision-making and profiling, and to refuse direct marketing.
- In some cases, you also have the right to data portability of your personal data.
